Thank you to all who participated in May Fellowship Day on Friday evening, May 5, 2017. Church Women United presented a program on Sharing the Gifts God has Given us with the World. Dee Greeson welcomed members from other area churches and led the program. Elizabeth Craft and Barbara Greeson also participated in the program. Stephanie Webb presented a short video on Peacehaven Community Farm and shared a display of wool products made by students at Peacehaven. We were blessed to welcome the Peacehaven team who also sang and told about their gifts. Our Mt. Hope band comprised of Kristin Vaughn, Bennie Gerner, Sue, and Jeff Holt also provided music for our guests. We accepted a “Least Coin” offering from the women and dedicated it to the work of love and reconciliation around the world. A Least Coin offering is built up as each woman prays for justice, peace, and reconciliation and sets aside coins as a tangible token toward her prayer being answered. Patricia Shoffner, President of Ala Guil Council of Church Women United led the business portion of the program along with Judy Springer, CU State President.
